Privacy and email disclosure

This guide is designed to collect as little information as practical.

Analytics

Google Analytics is optional. When a valid GA4 Measurement ID is configured, analytics code loads only after a visitor selects “Accept.” The choice is stored locally in the browser. Selecting “Decline” prevents the Google Analytics script from loading.

Email signup

The optional signup is separate from the voter guide. It is intended for Maui real-estate, housing-market and related promotional email from Maui Mateo Real Estate. The form requires an affirmative consent checkbox. The form submits the visitor’s name and email address directly to Mailchimp, which processes the subscription for Maui Mateo Real Estate and provides the required unsubscribe mechanism.

No candidate affiliation

The mailing option does not imply sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation by any candidate, campaign or government agency.

Mailchimp

Mailchimp processes optional signup submissions under its own privacy and security practices. Subscription emails include an unsubscribe option. The voter guide itself does not require an email address.
